The Lardeau Valley Community Club confirms that Amanda has resigned from her role as Manager.
Amanda has contributed many years of service to LVCC, including time as a board member, manager, president, volunteer, and program supporter. In her resignation, Amanda reflected on her long-standing commitment to the Club and wrote that she worked to make LVCC “an inclusive, welcoming space.” She also shared that, over the years, she gave her “time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears to LVCC and this community.”
The Club sincerely thanks Amanda for her years of service and the many contributions she made to programs, events, operations, and community life. We are sorry that circumstances reached a point where a mutual understanding could not be found to continue working together toward a stronger future.
At the same time, LVCC is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional environment for members, volunteers, staff, board members, and the broader community. The Club does not condone threats, personal attacks, harassment, defamatory statements, or conduct that may amount to slander or libel against any member of the organization or community. Disagreements must be handled respectfully, through appropriate processes, and in a manner that protects the dignity of everyone involved.
Moving forward, LVCC is focused on stability, transparency, respectful governance, and healthier day-to-day management. The Club remains committed to serving the Lardeau Valley community, supporting programs and events, improving operations, and creating a welcoming environment for all who wish to participate constructively.
We thank the community for its patience and continued support during this transition.
