Public Statement: A Message from the LVCC Board of Directors

Dear Community,
We want to acknowledge that our Manager, Amanda Cutting, has submitted her resignation effective immediately (April 29th). We thank Amanda for her years of service to the Lardeau Valley Community Centre and wish her well in her future endeavours.

We are also aware of recent public statements regarding the LVCC, its Board and President, as well as claims regarding the LVCC website. At this time, Greg Underwood continues to maintain complete administrative control over the Society’s former website (lvcc.ca), changed all Board email passwords (locking us out of our official email system – April 29th), and appears to have exclusive control over the official Facebook page. The Board is actively working toward a comprehensive and professional resolution so that we can regain full and proper authority over all Society assets and communications channels.

Despite this serious situation, we remain focused on the future of the LVCC and are very optimistic about what lies ahead once this chapter is behind us. We encourage all members to attend the Annual General Meeting on May 12th to participate in the important decisions facing our organization.

While lvcc.manager.bc@gmail.com was provided as an interim access, unfortunately we have now also been locked out of that account (unknown cause) and Amanda has not responded to many requests for the verification code (sent to her cell phone for that email address). As such, Board functions and abilities are significantly inhibited at this time.

We will provide further updates in the coming days regarding operations and upcoming events.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Sincerely,

Jaeden Woodland
President
On behalf of the Board of Directors
Lardeau Valley Community Club
