Lardeau Valley LINKS is hosting a free 2-hour board training session for anyone currently serving on a board of directors, as well as those interested in learning more about nonprofit board governance.
This session is a great opportunity for local nonprofit board members, volunteers, committee members, and future directors to strengthen their understanding of board roles, responsibilities, governance practices, and strategic leadership.

About the Instructor
Laurie has worked in the nonprofit field since 2015, specializing in strategic planning, governance training, policy manual creation, and grant writing. She is a registered Columbia Basin Trust consultant and has worked with over 25 organizations in the East Kootenays.
