Kris Healy has stepped into an interim board position at the Lardeau Valley Community Centre to offer her expertise and support to the community she has long been a part of. A longtime resident of Meadow Creek, Kris is an owner and operator of the Meadow Creek Store and Meadow Creek Bar & Grill, serving as a key business and community leader in the Meadow Creek serving the residents of the Lardeau Valley.
Respected for her thoughtfulness and dedication, Kris has been a steadfast supporter of local initiatives, always striving to strengthen connections and opportunities within the Lardeau Valley. Her leadership and deep community ties make her a valuable asset to the LVCC, ensuring it remains a welcoming and thriving space for all.

Lorraine Hawthorne is a first-term board member of the Lardeau Valley Community Club, bringing with her a deep commitment to community life and rural living. Residing on a small farm in Howser for the past five years, Lorraine has immersed herself in the rhythms of the Lardeau Valley, building connections and supporting local initiatives.
A passionate baker and entrepreneur, Lorraine is the owner and operator of Triple L Farms Bakery, a thriving small business rooted in traditional recipes and homegrown values. Her experience as a former bakery owner continues to inform her approach to both business and community engagement, emphasizing quality, care, and connection.
In addition to her culinary endeavors, Lorraine raises pet bunnies and chickens on her farm, contributing to the region’s agricultural vitality. Her commitment to sustainable, small-scale farming reflects her dedication to self-sufficiency and rural stewardship.
Lorraine’s grounded, hands-on perspective and entrepreneurial spirit make her a valuable asset to the Community Club as it works to strengthen the social fabric and resilience of the Lardeau Valley.
